Delicious, healthy and delicious! ... and very, very nice managing directors !!!

Mega delicious vegan food for a justified price. Very friendly and attentive service who reacts flexibly to the wishes of their customers. I can only recommend ?? (it's a shame that there is “only” 5 * to be awarded, we would have given more) ?

Super delicious vegan breakfast and nice staff, highly recommended.

The food and drinks were great, but the staff loudly complained about not tipping when certain guests left the cafe. Unfortunately, something like that doesn't make the other guests feel like giving more. Overall, friendliness seemed to be available here to a limited extent. It's a shame with the great concept.

Great café with a very nice ambience, vegan dishes, snacks and (I think) a wonderfully creative selection of cakes ? - there is also a rich variety of milk alternatives at no additional charge - here, only the ? milk surcharge costs ? The staff was also very friendly and courteous - we'll be happy to come back on our next visit to Lübeck and try some new delicacies ? 4 stars, because (personally) the cake didn't knock me off my feet - try again next time ?

Last week I was in Lübeck again for a long time, wanted to have breakfast somewhere, but didn't feel like the usual bread rolls .... So the evening before I was looking for something special and discovered Café Marae. That was really the highlight of the day! So nice service and perfect breakfast, I had Marae Granola and it tasted super good! I'm looking forward to my next visit to Lübeck, I'll definitely be back!

HIGH VIBES. So much great selection from vegan fried eggs to "ham bagels" ? but a brownie or a piece of Black Forest cherry? You get your money's worth. A date of cocoa on top ? we are thrilled. In addition, there is the wonderfully cozy interior.

Cake looked delicious. But a mini piece for 4.60 euros .. Plus no warm service. We left again.

We happened to pass by the Marae on the way to another restaurant and then decided on the Marea, as we were already hungry. When we wanted to order, we were told that the pancakes were out. Then we ordered a croissan, the granola and two coffees. The two coffees were empty and we ordered another round drink. After a good three quarters of an hour I went into the restaurant and asked if our breakfast had been forgotten. I was advised that they are very busy and our breakfast is in progress. 5 minutes later our meal came, which was actually very tasty. I was absolutely disappointed when the table next to us was served pancakes the 10 minutes before we got our food. The service staff seemed partly disinterested. Conclusion: the food was delicious, the waiting time and the service inadequate. Therefore, unfortunately, only three stars

Great vegan cafe. The coffee was very good and I love the wide variety of raw cakes. I only came back to Lübeck for this café.

Simply delicious!

Awesome raw vegan cakes and fine coffee. We ordered peanut tasted raw cake and chocolate chai raw cake. Both of them were moderately sweet, nutty and they contain the original flavor of the ingredients in such a nice way. The service was not so friendly though. We had to wait for the coffee and cakes for more than 20 minutes though it was not so crowded. But the entire atmosphere was warm and cozy. I'd recommend this place to any vegans or dessert lovers.

Tasty raw vegan cakes and nice coffee, but unfortunately not so friendly service. I don't know, maybe the waiter was just tired, but to wait for a coffee more than 20 minutes is, in my opinion, too long.

We had a delicious lunch, vegan, very nice people and a family atmosphere. Also had delicious dessert and drinks. I would recommend to all :)

Very nice and good cafe. We had two delicious coffee and a Danube wave. The cake was very good like the drinks. I do not award five stars, because some decorative parts were pretty dusty. If this is changed I rate the café with clear five stars.

A very beautiful café with great vegan food. Dogs are allowed in here. Very small place so sitting is limited.

Fantastic coffee.

Beautiful and cosy café! The decoration is very nice and warm,with comfortable seats. Coffee (we had a cappuccino and an Americano ) was really good. They offer a big variety of cakes, also vegetarian! !!! You can also enjoy your lunch here:-) For sure we visit again!

Kiwi-esque absolutely vegan and organic delights. Their cakes are raw food. Try their brownies! Yum!

By far the best café in Lübeck. Fantastic coffee, great operator and somehow you always come into very close contact with the audience. A real insider tip for Lübeck ... at least! ;)

Amazing friendly english-speaking personal, cozy atmosphere. But the coffee is not good.
